HUMAN RIGHTS FUNDERS NETWORK

Head of Program Operations (link to job description): The incumbent will oversee all operational aspects of HRFN’s programming. They will be responsible for the technology HRFN uses to deliver its varied global programs, including website management, podcasts, online interactive meetings, regional convenings, HRFN’s virtual and in person annual Global Assembly, PhilanthroLabs, and working groups, and for maintaining and updating HRFN’s databases. This position requires strong technical skills along with skills in communication, project management, and passion for international human rights and philanthropy. They will have strong written and oral communication skills and fluency in English and a second language (French, Spanish, Portuguese or Arabic).

Global Communications and Philanthropic Advocacy Officer

The incumbent will closely collaborate with our team and manage the organization’s multifaceted communications, interactive dialogues, meetings, design thinking labs, and digital strategies.  This position requires bilingual skills in English and Spanish along with skills in communication, project management, advocacy strategy, and a passion for international human rights and philanthropy.  To get more information about this position along with other career opportunities in human rights philanthropy, please check out our Jobs Board.


International Lesbian Gay, Bisexual Trans and Intersex Association Internship Program

Individuals with a background in or at least profound knowledge of the United Nations System may qualify for a 6-month internship with ILGA (International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association). Applicants should have a minimum of a relevant bachelor’s degree and a passion for human rights in the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transsexual community. Strong analytical skills, a high level of written and spoken English. Those with additional language skills in Spanish, Arabic, French or other UN affiliated languages are highly sought for the internship.

Interns will work with ILGA representatives in a virtual setting from their home base. Opportunities to work with affiliated NGOs may also be available in Geneva through a virtual setting as well. Candidate interviews are conducted via Skype or in person in Geneva.
